Mr. Raymond P. Meza, currently serves as Board President for the San Felipe Del Rio CISD Board of Trustees. Serving his third term as the Place IV Trustee Member, Mr. Meza has held several leadership positions throughout his tenure including Board President and Vice-President. He also chairs the Board Policy Review Committee. Mr. Meza also serves on the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors representing ESC Region XV.

Mr. Meza’s experience in education includes serving as a kindergarten teacher, a 6th grade teacher a middle school principal, and school board trustee. “These experiences have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to promote educational excellence for all Texas children through advocacy, leadership and dedication to serve”, states Mr. Meza. “As a former educator with thirty-seven years of experience, I continue to be a strong advocate for public education and my experience on the SFDRCISD Board has enabled me to gain insight into important issues impacting our geographic region and the state.” Mr. Meza’s term on the Board expires in May 2022.
